OMEA Advisors is an independent consulting firm launched by Olivier Meyer to provide regulatory compliance services to the fund industry in Luxembourg.
The company employs a team of entrepreneurial minded and customer focussed experts delivering bespoke solutions to its client base.
OMEA Advisors' philosophy is to understand client requirements first before pitching for the business and delivering any services.
Olivier Meyer
Founder
Olivier is a senior executive with 27 years of experience in banking and the fund industry.
He began his career working in operations in the banking sector, followed by a stint in IT consulting and software sales. He then joined Alken Asset Management in London as COO/CFO. He was instrumental in growing the company to € 2.6bn in assets under management, launched two Management Companies to support Alken's funds in Luxembourg and served as Conducting Officer for both structures. Olivier then moved to Alpcot Asset Management as COO where he left in 2011 to set up his own consultancy practice dedicated to providing services to the fund management industry. In 2015 he moved to Luxembourg where he launched OMEA Advisors.
Olivier's extensive experience in the fund industry cover all aspects related to structuring, launching and operating funds as well as AML/CFT/PF.
He graduated from London Business School and Institut Superieur de Gestion in Paris and is a member of ILA and ALCO.
